Propose a Project
The CDT in Applied Photonics is a consortium of academic and industrial researchers with the objective of supporting industrially-informed doctoral research projects related to photonics and optics. Any company with a research activity in the UK is eligible to participate.
To propose a project, please complete the Project Proposal Form (see attachment below) and return this to the Centre email address.
The Academic Supervisor can be based at any of the partner Universities – Strathclyde, St Andrews, Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh, Huddersfield or Heriot-Watt.
Ideally the proposal would be discussed in detail with the proposed Academic Supervisor, however, this is not essential as the CDT will assist in finding potential supervisors from across the partners.
