Our annual CDT in Applied Photonics Supervisor Information Event will take place on Wednesday 28 April 2027, bringing together both current and prospective academic and industrial supervisors of CDT students.
This event is particularly valuable for those who are new to supervising within the CDT, while also providing an important opportunity for existing supervisors to learn about recent developments, updates, and changes across the Centre.
In an informal and welcoming environment, we will provide an overview of the CDT, our approach to doctoral training, and the ways in which we work with and support our supervisory community. Presentations will be delivered by the Centre Director, Deputy Directors, Training Programme Manager, and the CDT Cross-Cohort Student Representative, offering insights from both staff and student perspectives.
The session will include opportunities for discussion, questions, and networking, enabling attendees to connect with colleagues and share experiences. Lunch will be provided, with further time for informal conversations and networking.
